After 2 tough practices and focus to passing, the C's play hard and rally to tie Burnsville.

The C's played their 4th Straight "BIG CITY" team in a row, going 0-3-1, and the scoring margin averaging 2 goals or less.  So something had to give for all the hard work.  Back on home ice for the first time in weeks, the C's pleased the home crowd.

Logan Vaudrin started the scoring by putting away a goal past the Burnsville netminder early in the first, from a great pass from Garrett Mayer.

Burnsville seeped through the D at middle ice and scored 2 of their 3 goals on breakaways.  After two periods it ended 3-3 tied up, it was up to the C's again to play with heart and determination or let the Burnsville team have their way.

With back to back goals, one from Garrett Mayer and one from Paul Forelich, assisted by Cullen paulson and Captain Nate Seitz.   The C's brought momentum into the third.

However the Burnsville Squad had plans of their own scoring a goal just 2:30 into the 3rd, to pull ahead 4-3.  Play went back and forth, but the C's only yielded one shot on goal the rest of the game.  The C's added plenty of pressure but time was ticking away.  It was time to pull the goaltender and add an extra attacker.

Pulling the goalie was attempted 4 other times all year with no result, but the odds favored the C's.  With :12 seconds left Zach Cooke, buried the game tying goal, with a pass from never quitting Paul Froelich.  This was very uplifting to the C's after losing many games by a goal, they were satisfied getting come from behind tie, against a METRO team.  The C's dominated play outshooting them, 27-6.

Captain Nate Seitz, Asst. Captain Paul Froelich and Garrett Mayer earned game MVP Honors.
