CONGRATS GIRLS ON YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!

It has been a season of ups and downs twists and turns.  In the end it was a hard playing U-12 team that refused to end their season status quo.  With some wins under their belt, and playing teams throughout the year that were TRUE U12's, the patched team ended their season with lots to smile about.

Not only did the girls get a tough loss put on them in game one vs Waseca, the coaches challenged their play and heart.  Leaders were asked to step up and lead, and younger players to step up and play like the 12's beside them.

The Girls responded with goals from Gina Van Thomme(the hard charging defenseman) and Abbi Schmidt, the teams assist leader.  Also goaltending Mallory Ward and Lindsay Olson provided shutout hockey infront of the Forwards and Defense.

At games end it was smiles, cheers and a trophy that was claimed, a positive end to an unproven, put together U12 team.
