Asst. Captain Paul Froelich netted a goal midway through the 3rd, off a great pass from linemate Zach Cooke. It was an even battle early, the first three goals lakeville Co-Op netted came hard, but their middle pressure eventually put the C's D to the test.
Co-Op was trying to finish off the C's early and get the league best in wins over with. The C's stayed penalty free and made some good passes & Shots. But not enough consistancy was the difference. The game ended 6-1 loss. But the mood was good, as the C's played their hardest and kept to game plan.
The C's will play host to Albert Lea on PEE WEE C Day at Shattuck-St.Mary's (new) on Sunday 11am. We will recognize the 2nd year Pee Wee C players, this will be their last game as a Pee Wee on home ice, and the season.
Also a chance to thank parents for all their help and support all year!
